Windows 2000 - Connecting to PromiseLink

1. On your Windows desktop, double click on the My Computer icon.
2. The My Computer window opens. Double click on the Control Panel icon.

   

3. The Control Panel window appears. Double click on the Network and Dial-Up Connections icon.

   

4. The Dial-Up Networking window opens. You will see the PromiseLink icon.
5. Double click on the PromiseLink icon.
6. The Connect to PromiseLink window opens as shown below:
   • Username: Enter your PromiseLink UserID here
   • Password: Enter your PromiseLink Password here
     (Password is case-sensitive and should be comprised of alpha-numeric characters.)

     

7. Click on the Dial button to connect to PromiseLink.
8. When your connection is successful, you will see a small computer icon in your Windows taskbar.
9. To see your connection status, double click on the icon.

   

10. The PromiseLink Status window opens. Once you have finished using your PromiseLink connection, click on the Disconnect button to end the session.
